Talk:Hawaiian time aspect markers
From UniLang Wiki
- I have edited this article several times, cross referencing my statements with information from Hawaiian Grammar and the online course material from Haw 452 which was prepared by Dr. Emily Hawkins at the following link [1]. Areas of my article that were not supported by these sources were removed for the sake of cautiousness on my part, but in the subject relative clause area I kept "e (verb) ala" since I have seen it in literature; and because I saw the "e (verb) ala" pattern in subject relative clauses in literature, I assumed that "e (verb) lä" must also be a possibility. Since I could neither affirm nor deny the use of the "e (verb) lä" pattern in subject relative clauses, I chose not to remove it.
