Reflexive verbs

To wash - Pestä
To wash oneself - Peseytyä

With any object, even if it belongs to you, use the verb pestä:

Pesen hiukseni - I wash my hair
Pesen käteni - I wash my hands
Pesen koirani - I wash my dog

But to say that you wash yourself, use the reflexive verb peseytyä:

Peseydyn joka aamu ja ilta - I wash myself every morning and night

Other verbs that work like this:

Pukea/Pukeutua - To dress/To get dressed
Riisua/Riisuutua - To undress/To get undressed

This kind of verbs can also have other meanings, for example:

Rakastaa/Rakastua - To love/To fall in love
Istua/Istuutua - To sit/To sit down
Avata/Avautua - To open (smth)/To open (oneself), To be opened
Sulkea/Sulkeutua - To close (smth)/To close (oneself)

Verb suffixes -maan/-mään

This is a list of Finnish verbs that, when followed by another verb, require the second verb to be in the -maan/-mään form (3rd infinite + illative ending). The first verb is in basic form.

Joutua tekemään - Be required to do/To be forced to do
Oppia tekemään - Learn to do
Opetella tekemään - Learn to do
Pakottaa tekemään - Force to do
Mennä tekemään - Go to do/Go and do
Neuvoa tekemään - Advise to do/Advise how to do
Sattua tekemään - Happen to do [as if by accident]
Auttaa tekemään - Help to do
Tottua tekemään - Get used to do
Pyytää tekemään - Ask to do
Ryhtyä tekemään - Begin to do
Pystyä tekemään - To be able to do
Kyetä tekemään - To be able to do
Olla halukas tekemään - Be willing to do
Olla innokas tekemään - Be excited to do
Olla huono tekemään - Be bad at doing
Olla hyvä tekemään - Be good at doing

Note: Opetella means the concrete process of learning (in any tense). Oppia implies that there was/will be a result from the learning. Example: Opettelin kauan suomen kieltä, ja lopulta opin puhumaan sitä.

"Present" (or more accurately non-past) indicative

singular:
(minä) tuon - I bring
(sinä) tuot - you bring
hän tuo - he/she brings
plural:
(me) tuomme - we bring
(te) tuotte - you bring
he tuovat
