Very interesting topic!

The most Polish to me, something that each Pole eats a lot during the whole sumemr, are blueberry buns

Right, I don't know about putting images here, so bear with me :D

I think England is most famous for this: http://www.cadbury.co.uk"Cadbury's chocolate" which I don't like (except whole nut). Creme eggs are an abomination, you, who said you liked them! Ick! :D I much prefer "nasty cheap advent calendar chocolate" which is a bit darker and is what my mum seems to refer to all Nestle products as. I like fizzy Cola bottles, but Haribo make them and you all know what that looks like. I also like nutty clusters.

Varislintu: You can get a huge box of Halva salmiakki (About 500g) for 2e on Finnair flights :D
The first 20 or so times I was forced to eat Salmiakki I hated it. Now I like it, and eat it all the time  Guess I trained myself to like it.

Fazer Geisha and Chilichocolate are also very very very yummy. I made a trade out of bringing this chocolate back to my schoolfriends after visiting Finland. Oo and Kismet. They liked Kismet :D

Also, how has anyone not mentioned MARABOU?! :D It's so yummy. The Schweizer Not or Nöt one and Fruit and nut one is gorrrgeous.

My boyfriend consumes dangerous amounts of Tyrkisk peber.
http://www.finnishfood.net/store/images ... ra_hot.jpg
It has weird combinations of chili and melon and...salmiakki and hot stuff.

And now I'm hungry.. :D

For Serbia I'd have to think about it, since I can't think of only one.

But for Croatia it has to be Bajadera. :D

I'm glad to hear salmiakki has grown on you, but I hope you haven't got addicted like I have ;). BTW, Halva's salmiakki products are the most varying in quality of modern massproduced products I know. Sometimes they are way too soft and salty, sometimes hard and sweet (the way I like them). Sometimes those little boxfuls (rasia) even contain one or two pieces completely without salmiakki flavour! If I happen to buy a bag of those soft ones, I usually leave it open to dry for a week or so; it usually helps and the candies become harder and sweeter .

Oh, and even if Geisha is good, I'm more into its sisterproduct Fazerina, especially the Irish Cream version :).

Ok, I thought about it.

For Serbia

- Smoki

I think they are called potato flips in English. I don't know if that can be classified as candy, since it's salty, but as Zaduma posted those salty sticks, I'll put this too.

- Negro bombone

Very strong mentol candy, nicknamed "the chimney sweep of your throat". I think somebody once complained that the name is racist, though it was soly because the colour of the candy is black.

- Plazma keks

It's like Nutella, only it had two parts, one of it was regular dark chocolate cream and the other half was white chocolate. People divided themselves into those liked the dark half and those who liked the white half. The Croatian version of that was called Kinderlada, though that was being produced by a forreign licence (owned by Ferrero). (Now Kinderlada is still being produced in Croatia under the name Linolada :P) Now... I'm not sure, but I think Eurocream was also a foreign licence, but I can't remember the company. Again it was Italian, something in G...

- Jaffa cakes

Ok, again this isn't originally Serbian, but we produced it here massively.

And when talking about Croatian candy, besides the bajaderas mentioned in my previous post, one should also mention

- Ledene kocke ('Ice cubes')

- Domaćica

We had those around here, for small children...usually put into milk (they can even melt if you want ;)). Actually I think I grew up on those during my very first years...

Where did you get "keks" from? I know the German "Keks" originally comes from English "cakes", did you loan the word from German?

Awww, don't tell me that's foreign too!! My list of original brand products is getting thinner.

Yes, we got it from German.

Ah, but the Milky Way cream I remember looked something like this:

With Eurocream the point was that the dark and the white half were completely separate so that people who liked only part wouldn't be forced to eat the other. ;)

Maybe there is that type of Milky Way too, but I never saw it.

I'm sorry to disappoint you again but that's also something that I wouldn't find uncommon... just like Nutella but with a white separate side... I don't know if the Serbians invented it, but for us it's some sort of variation of Nutella (and it usually tastes better in my opinion ;))

Ah, no, I didn't say we invented it. I already said in my previous post that it was done by Ferrero (which owns Nutella, Kinder Surprise and Kinder Chocolote). My point in the second post was to clarify how it looked, not to say it was unique. ;)

Of course, the mayor point is not in the physical appereance, but in taste, i.e. the recipe. That is what separates a certain product from other products. (However the Eurocream produced now is of very bad taste, but that's another story :()

BTW, does such Nutella really exist? I'm dying to taste it.
