Ah, and this is also the logic behind "2 Spanish construction workers know more about their language than a French linguist specialized in Spanish?" :)

Your point is noted

No, I didn't say that read again please

Ok, whats the difference between a dialect and an accent?, nothing for me

people in England say Flemish is another language, but arrived from Dutch. I dont agree, if I ask, what language do they speak in Belgium? they will answer: French and Flemmish.
for me thats a wrong answer. Its Dutch and French!
And why dont people say: Flemmish and Walloon than:P

I think there is a great difference between dialect and accent. Accent is just the way you speak, isn't it? With dialect, you use other words, other grammar maybe...

And you say: they speak Dutch and French in Belgium and I think that is correct, but then you are talking about languages, not dialects!

People in English don't say Flemish is a different language. Not the linguists anyway.

The difference between an accent or a dialects is quite obvious and simple to me.
