Now that you mentioned it... I've worked some years ago applying surveys* to random people in random places around Baixada Santista (aka Metropolitan Santos, with 1.7 million habitants). I went to several places where I would otherwise never ever go, such as a mansions neighborhood, a fishermen town and a lot of favelas. A very interesting experience

Back to the topic, I like to "explore" unknown neighborhoods but I hate to get lost. Even so, when I arrived in Tupã I used to get lost frequently (hell, every corner looked the same for me ).
