Mm... It's not that I'm thinking on a withdraw but... it gets harder when your agenda is so tight. :cry: I haven't had the time to translate as much as needed, and thus I've felt kind of dissapointed (and unable to reach my goal by the end of June). I decided to change my mind about the translation process. It will not be a source of information, that is, whenever I approach a text and try to translate it, I shan't see it as if it were written in my mother tongue (i.e. as a trustable source of info); instead, it will be to me a sole set of words and sentences my mind is gonna start to soak up.

I fancy rely on a conversational-monologue-like-questionnaire as well to consolidate the vocabulary/sentences I'll be working on. But that's for a new entry.

Just for the record...
Yesterday I verified what I suspected, Catalan seems to be a worthy candidate for a future TAC. ...

As my (only) new year’s resolution here’s my strategy for tackling the aforementioned languages.

I have no prior knowledge with Dutch, my Italian is nothing but its cognates with Spanish (my native tongue) and with respect of Latin, I’ve checked many times different grammars (the passive way) but can’t still translate simple sentences.

ITALIAN it

Translating: 4%

Speaking: 0%

Reading: 3%

Writing: 1%

Listening: 2%

DUTCH nl

Translating: 2%

Speaking: 0%

Reading: 1%

Writing: 1%

Listening: 0%


LATIN la

Translating: 2%

Speaking: 0%

Reading: 2%

Writing: 1%

Listening: 0%

Purposes

Upgrade to a fifty per cent (50%) each ability. Specially on conversation.
