Never before in my life did I think that I could sing. I knew I could not sing, until this past week when I was with my girl friend's little grandchildren. When I'm with them we get pretty loose and in the midst of our merriment I burst into song and I thought:" Wow that wasn't half bad." So today is Sunday and we are pretty relaxed and the same thing happened. I conclude that all the practice I've been doing trying to speak Chinese particularly the 2nd and 4th tones { I practice out loud as much as I can] has built up the muscles in my throat and now when I try to sing I sound good to me. I'm happy.

I've been crushed by school, work and other things lately. I don't have much free time, and Languages are loosing out on it. I hope to get back into this soon, but for now, I just don't have the time to do even casual studies.

This sucks.
