I only joined a little while ago, and so far I've just been messing around, looking to see what topics there are and posting a bit. Today I thought I'd try out the blog option. I had to think for a while about what to write, because it's been ages since I last had a blog. I just want to start out by saying that I really like it here, and it's very nice to find people who are so interested in language, as opposed to my friends, who pretend to listen while I rant about it. :D

Yesterday, I started writing some lyrics for a little Russian song. It's nothing very interesting or dramatic; it's really just to practice the language. It's in the form of a love song, and I'd like to post it here. Please tell me if I've made any mistakes; comments about the actual content are fine, of course, but as I said, this is really just for Russian practice. So here it is:


Ты не хочешь быть ктото как меня.
Я не хоч...

I have noticed that within the languages categories of spanish which includes spanish from many countries including mine(Mexico) there is no category mentioning USA SPANISH and SPANGLISH. Since I moved to the US I have found American spanish facinating, and although at first I resisted talking like it (thinking it was an incorrect language), in the end I ended up talking like the millions of Hispanics that live in the USA, using alternaly US SAPNISH dialect and SPANGLISH. I think is important that the USA spanish should be included, since it varies importantly from any other hispanic countries- but is still manly spanish, and have enough speakers to be considered an important dialetc, different from other languages in the USA.

I also wanna discuss the other language that is widely spoken in the US that is a mixing of two languages SPANGLISH. which is different from the spanish spoke in the US, since it is mostly half english and has his own tricks, and is manly spoken by the American...
