I just thought I'd announce here that I've succumbed to the hype and am trying to use twitter now :) --> http://twitter.com/proycon

I suppose I could also try to blog a bit on our new blog system here but I probably won't get around to it.

English Japanese (日本語) Korean (한국어) Japanese or Korean by polishboy on 2009-04-15, 18:23
Which languge do you think is harder?
Many people would answer it would be Japanese, of course, but I think the Korean is harder to become advanced at.
Why?
Learning Korean language as a beginner is easy, writting is easy etc.
On the other hand learning Japanese at the beginning is hard, you need to learn all those kana.
And Chinese characters, but if you know that, later learning is very easy.
In Korean it is the other way around, you need to learn a lot of vocabulary.
In Japanese even if you don't know a word, you ca nguess the meaning (by the cahracters), but in Korean you cannot, also some people say that it is good to learn Korean hanja, which is harder than Japanese kanji.
As I can Chinese (I stared learning Chinese, before those, but it is worse than my Japanese and Korean, my grammar is not very good), learning the cahracters was not hard for me (not so hard, but still it needs a lot of time, and hard work).
한국말을 공부하는 이유는 여자야!

한국어를 공부하지만, 완...

Welcome to MiloT's Conlang Blog!!! by MiloT on 2009-03-14, 21:46
As you all, or some of you know,I've been delving into several lang projects over my time as a conlanger and have created several successful [and several unsuccessful] conlangs. Some of my conlangs, I've decided are too small and quite frankly, too boring. And so, I've narrowed my list down to the conlangs that are most interesting, most far gone and therefore those that I am going to keep:

- Kaadin, one of my first conlangs
- Adzido, a germ-lang
- Cene, most difficult and interesting grammar
- Nascepa, nosore's daughter language [one of them]
- Polata, an agglutinating conlang [my first one!]

I'll post most tomorrow. :D
