English Spanish (Español) Turkish (Türkçe) Starting Turkish by kalemiye on Mon 2009-05-04, 13:17
enI borrowed a book called "Starting Turkish" from my university's library. It is a very simple book, being its aim to teach foreigners the basics of Turkish language, focused on everyday conversations. I will post some lessons taken from that book here, hopefully it can be useful for whoever visits this blog. I won't start with the alphabet, since, besides being a really easy alphabet, it can be found in wikipedia as well as in many other sites of the internet.

Pondré aquí algunas de las lecciones del libro, esperando que le sea a útil a quien visite esta página. No comenzaré a explicar el alfabeto, porque, aparte de ser muy sencillo, podéis encontrarlo en Wikipedia o en otros muchos sit...

For a couple of days I have been trying my new Arabic alphabet and it's going pretty well. I still have to practise and read more quickly, but that's no big deal. Thank you for all your previous comments, they were really useful.

Soon I'll post something more in here. :)
